Cherry blossom, called Sakura in Japanese, has fascinated Japanese people every time spring comes for a long time and is also given as a national flower.
To share the pleasure of viewing Sakura, we have a picnic party with family, friends, or colleagues beside cherry trees.
The traditional event is just called “Hanami” which is held in late March through May all over Japan.
Yozakura, Hanami at night, is the best part of viewing cherry blossoms
The truth, viewing flowers at night is so lovely, could be difficult to understand but photos of Yozakura on this article can easily convince us.
In many places, paper lanterns or romantic lights are temporarily hung for the purpose of the night festival that people make happy noise while drinking Sake.
As spots you could have Hanami in Tokyo, we especially recommend Yasukuni Shrine, Ueno Park, Sumida Park, Shinjuku Gyoen, and Nakameguro River.
We hope you could see a moment of the beauty before falling as soon as possible because it’s too short like our life.
Thanks a lot for reading to the end.
