The next Comiket will take place on 12-14 August in 2016

Comic Market, also known as Comiket, is the world’s largest self-published manga fair which is held twice a year in Tokyo Big Sight, and the number of the times reaches to 90 this weekend since started in 1975.

The general participants are about 60,0000 people through three days every time, so I tell you just 3 things not to be upset in the crowdedness.

1, Download the catalog from the official site

You can freely download the catalog with PDF in English here, and I recommend to read it well.
It might be also good idea to print it out, and bring it to the site with your belongings.

2, Prepare food and drink in advance

Of course, you can buy something on the site or around stations you get off, but the possibility that you miss what you want could be really high in competition with other customers.
Some goods like salt candy, easy-dry towel, or sunscreen against hot weather should be also needed.

3, Consider the time and remember the way

Comiket usually starts from 10:00 am with a multitude of people, but you don’t need to be the one of them on purpose.
You can hang out with your pace without a long line if you appear after 12:00 pm.
At last, I write about Tokyo Big Sight, often used by big Japanese events.
Thanks a lot for reading to the end.
